We specialize in grain and substrate, so we obviously take a lot of pride in this department. Providing for home growers, start-ups, and large business's alike, we work with customers to meet their specific needs.

All of our grain is rinsed, soaked for 16-24 hours, then simmered until hydration is evenly distributed. After simmering we set aside on racks to dry before being bagged and sterilized in our professional autoclaves. Once removed we immediately double seal every bag and set aside to cool. Our experiments have shown that our bags are still useable even after a year of sitting on the shelf. However, we run our autoclaves every day so can promise the grain you receive will be super fresh, and sometimes still warm if in Austin!
